Castlegate Security collects and processes personal data relating to its customers.

The company is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.

How is data stored?

The data is stored on our in-house computer and is backed up daily. The data is protected by up to date anti-virus software.

Paper based documents are kept in locked filing cabinets, within a secure office space.

The office is locked when personnel are off site, the office is within a space that is also locked by a keypad door.

What is the purpose of data collection?

Castlegate Security processes personal data to provide alarm response, keyholding and manned guarding services.

Who has access to data?

All staff employed by Castlegate Security have undergone security screening in line with British Standards (BS7858 2012)

Where necessary the organisation will share your data with specific third parties, such as emergency services, to enable the provision of the service provided.

The organisation may also share your data with third parties in the context of a sale of some or all of its business. In those circumstances the data will be subject to confidentiality arrangements.

Castlegate Security will not share your personal data with any other third party without your permission.

How long is data kept?

Castlegate Security takes the security of your data seriously. The company has controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidently destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties.

Customer contract data will be kept for the duration of the client contract.

The personal data is required to enable Castlegate Security to provide a safety service. All personal data provided is done so by the customer. Failure to provide the data required would greatly hinder the ability for the company to provide this service.
